ACE is about enjoying your Citroёn, friendship, attending club functions and outings and being a part of the greater WA car community. ACE also has strong connections with interstate Citroёn car clubs and international Citroёn lovers.
Do not keep your Citroёn hidden, dust it down, tune it up and head for the road. Western Australian residents have the privilege of concessional car licencing with the Department of Transport for compliant older vehicles. This reduces the cost of yearly registration markedly. The concessional licence comes with rules and regulations that must be respected and adhered to. For further details check out the Government of WA Department of Transport website, search Concessions for Classics and/or 404 Concession. ACE is a DOT approved club.
ACE members generally meet on the third Tuesday of each Month. Most of the time the venue is the upstairs ballroom at the Kalamunda Hotel, 43 Railway Rd, Kalamunda. (From time-to-time members choose a different venue and/or date to hold our monthly meetings.)
ACE members and guests are invited to arrive early for a meal, drinks, and good conversation prior to our formal meeting. If you arrive about 6pm onwards at the Kalamunda Hotel there is usually always another member or two, or a dozen sharing smiles, conversing about their cars and commenting on all things Citroën. Our meeting starts at 7.30pm and the main focus is stories of past events and sharing information about upcoming events.
We encourage Club members to plan a day out, a brunch or lunch, a workshop morning or day, a nights camping or a Run. Our Club values involvement by its members.
Monthly ACE Magazine: Currently, ACE has a member who generously takes time to edit and produce our on-line monthly magazine. This is available to all members via their personal email in pdf format. It has stories of members and friends adventures restoring cars, event activity reports and Citroën history. It also contains the minutes of our monthly meeting, the agenda outline for the next months meeting and contact details for committee members. It is a key platform for communication with our members.
Facebook Page: Association of Citroen Enthusiasts Western Australia. Here you will find reminders of Club meetings and events along with interesting Citroen information. This site is managed by another enthusiastic ACE member.
